THE MYTH OF FOSSIL FUELS
There are enduring myths in relation to things like fossil fuels and the role of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere. Think about the nonsense that has been perpetrated for a century or more- that Oil is the decayed remains of Dinosaurs and other early inhabitants of the Planet etc Those old Dinosaurs must have burrowed deep into the ground (thousands of feet ) to become our present day Oils. It never happened. The center of the earth is made up of fantastically hot molten fuels, mainly Hydrogen.
Hydrogen is the basis of all combustible substances, including Oil, Petrol, natural Gas, Coal, etc
Over millions of years, as we see when volcanoes erupt, there have been eruptions of liquids from the center of the earth and these extremely hot liquids have not made it to the surface of the earth, but remained several thousand, or in some cases, several hundreds of feet below the surface. There they stayed and became what we now know of as Oil deposits.
So much for the notion of Oil being a product of Fossil remains.
Now what about Coal ? When you burn a log of wood in an open fire, it might not completely burn, but the next day you can light the fire again and the rest of the log will burn completely. That half burnt log is similar to coal.
But Coal did not come from decayed Dinosaurs either nor from long dead forests . It almost certainly emanated from pools of molten hydrogen etc that had come to ground level from the center of the Earth, and probably burnt as very wide open fires, until a lot of the liquid content was gone and you only had dry Oil/Carbon based residue, which is what Charcoal is.
There are variations on the creation of these early combustible fuels but this is basically how they came into being. When you see that explanation, you realize that the fossil fuel notion, is pretty laughable, but most scientists accept that notion as a rational explanation for the existence of oil deposits etc.
Carbon Dioxide
Next is the Carbon Dioxide myth. Carbon Dioxide is essential to all plant growth ? Nonsense. Carbon Dioxide is one part Carbon and two parts Oxygen. But it is the Oxygen content that makes plants grow. The more Oxygen the better.
Oxygen makes up only 21 per cent of our Air (and we can breath twice that amount comfortably) also it is only one third the content of water but water can become two thirds oxygen or HO2 as in Sea water . While the two parts Oxygen in Carbon Dioxide, means a heavy concentration of Oxygen in CO2, the Carbon may only be beneficial with the possibility that it holds the heavy concentration of Oxygen together. There is no Carbon in water, but try growing plants without some water, even in the form of warm moist air as in garden hothouses. What about in the rain forests - don't they need Carbon ? Not really, where is the Carbon in the rain forests.? There are no Automobiles or Factories pumping out Carbon Dioxide in the rain forests. What you do have is moist air containing water , and also at times high temperatures. Together you have a hot house type environment, in which plant life thrives. Where is Carbon helpful ? In the making of plastics and automobile Tyres.
There are other long held myths which abound in the minds of supposedly distinguished scientists and other professionals.
Who says the Heart is a Pump ?
Everyone knows that the human heart is a pump - right ? Have you ever seen a pump that has no pumping mechanism in it ? The Heart has a number of passages, but it has no pumping mechanism.
It distributes blood to various parts of the Body, but it won't do that if you stop breathing (mainly Oxygen in the air).
Without the pumping (bellows) action of your lungs - the heart stops functioning.
It is a very complex business, including the fact that even if you just sit in a sauna for an hour, or so, your blood circulation will increase. This might be due to the fact that hot air (that you might be breathing ) expands,. I don't know, but it is not true to say that the heart is a pump, it is a distributor of blood in the body - but that is all that it is. --------- The essay below recycles old myths. The well meaning author cannot see that it is the double strength Oxygen in Carbon Dioxide that is really the main factor in increased plant growth.

A GREENER FUTURE Science has demonstrated that plant life and food production will benefit substantially from higher concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
Imagine a world without carbon dioxide (CO2). It would be a world without life. Plants of all kinds, from the greatest of the world's stately trees to the smallest single-celled algae, would disappear. Gone too would be the herbivorous creatures. Without the herbivores to prey upon, the great carnivores would disappear as well. Finally, without the plants and the animals, man too would disappear.
------------- Mostly wrong I suggest
